Keystone K-12 Spotlight: Jeremy Uhrich

The most rewarding moments are when former students come back to visit, thanking me for all the lessons I provided in the classroom, but more importantly lessons on life.

Jeremy Uhrich is a seventh-grade reading teacher at Huntingdon Area Middle School in the Huntingdon Area School District and has been teaching for more than 20 years. Jeremy first discovered his love of education through coaching basketball and working at summer camps. Then, after several experiences with substitute teaching, he knew he had found his true calling. Jeremy’s passion for student success focuses on a student’s whole well-being, not just academically, but through mentorship and providing lessons on hard work, dedication, integrity, teamwork, and more. Beyond teaching, Jeremy also co-founded the “Cookies for Caregivers” project during the pandemic to show appreciation for essential workers.
